A well trained sniper from a Special Forces Brigade of the Central Military District of Russia reported about the possibilities of using sniper weapons and tactics during the fighting in Syria.

The sniper spoke in an interview with the Russian language Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper about he used the thermometer to test his rifle. The Russian soldier said the crew of the tank he killed was with an distance shot from more than 350 meters away.

The sniper said: "Only with two shots from my rifle, I hit the commander of the tank first, who came from the tank tower to see the situation in the darkness of the night. Afterwards, I shot the tank driver who came from the opening of the tank."

He added that three adequate shots thwarted the well-trained terrorist group and these shots where protected by Russian military advisers were present in the region.

On August, 3, 2017, Russian snipers shot at gunmen who wanted to carry out an attack. It was necessary to shoot them from a close range with a Kalashnikov rifle. The terrorists were able to hit the sniper three times, but the bullet-proof vest resisted bullets fired from the American M-16.

The sniper assessed the training of the gunmen, pointing out that "this enemy is dangerous and strong, he trained them well and overcome them in the battle is not easy."
