Syria does not believe in the arrival of S-300 missiles - Assad

The Syrian president said in his latest interview with the channel Al-Alam in response to a question on the subject of the Russian "S-300" missiles and delivery to Syria:

"Even if the S-300 missiles come or not, we will not say they arrived in Syria. The weapon is used when it has to be used."

The Syrian president pointed out that "weapons must remain for the time of use, does not declare weapons for us only when using this weapon."

Observers said that what the Syrian president had said about the delivery of S-300 air defense systems to Syria could mean that the delivery of these missiles to Syria was inevitable. It was no coincidence that the Israeli prime minister went to Moscow for an urgent visit at the beginning of May. All indications are that during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Netanyahu was unable to reach an agreement that would satisfy Israel, which does not want a deal to deliver the S-300 to Syria.

A Russian news website said that this means that the time of the flight of the Israeli "F-35" in the sky over Syria with impunity, that it has end.
